Makoto Fushimi, Ph.D.
Dr. Makoto Fushimi is responsible for medicinal chemistry at PRISM BioLab. He joined the company in 2025, bringing deep expertise in small-molecule drug discovery and positron emission tomography probe research from his work at Takeda Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.
He conducted collaborative research, including projects at the Tri-Institutional Therapeutics Discovery Institute in New York. With broad experience across therapeutic areas, he has contributed to the identification of clinical candidates.
He received his Ph.D. from Nagoya University.
